Why do a Yoga Retreat?

A few words about us

- It was a beautiful experience. I was very nervous but so glad I did it. Terry you and your family were so nice and helpful. Actually the group was terrific. I was so thrilled to finally be able to paddle board. Now I am trying to save up for one....... I loved how there was always something going on. I didn't need any free time. The more things to do the better for me. If I am getting exercise I am happy :) Thank you.

- It was very relaxing with a lot of different choices of activities to choose from. It was nice to be close to home, but at the same time feel like you are really getting away from it all. The food was amazing.

- Amazing instructors and organizers of the event that put their soul into it. I loved those extra activities we were able to do on top of already intense schedule of yoga classes. I enjoyed the morning hike with Antje and paddleboards with Wendy. That's what gathered all of us together and made a difference to our experience. Thank you very much to all of you!

In Sept 2013 we created our first yoga retreat.  It combined our love of yoga and incorporated the five elements of nature.

Katrina Love Senn is a Hatha yoga teacher, and author and founder of Yoga Girl Revolution. In an article for MindBodyGreen.com, Senn states that yoga retreats help you break away from familiar routines and help you to move out of your comfort zone into a space of growth, new people and new places.

“Yoga retreats help you to deepen your yoga practice, finding new space in your body allowing new possibilities and new thoughts into your life,” says Senn. “It’s a brilliant way to break free of old patterns, release limitations, let go of fear and step into the space of courage and new possibilities.”
